  11. I,m new to the net.  Sorry.  I,m using Netscape software on a Mac SI and
  12. Netcruser on an IBM 486 clone.  I,m using Netcom service.  Iwanted to
  13. speed things up so I switched from a 14400 Supra to a USR Sportsster
  14. 28800.  Ibelieve that I have made all the configuration changes
  15. recommended by netcom's service line.  I have found no change in
  16. performance.  Everything runs the same on both machines.  Did I waste
  17. money on the faster modem?  What should I know?
